Jennie Elizabeth McKnight White was the daughter of William P. McKnight, who died in December of 1896and was buried in Park Cemetery. There were 7 McKnight children and I have no clue to what happened to the other 6. Jennie taught school before she married William White in 1885.

The Whites were William C. and Eveline Pillsbury White born in ME. These were my great-grandparents coming to Missouri in 1867. I don't know what happened to the Whites except what I have traced:

  1. Eva married a Pillsbury
  2. Addie married and settled in Kansas
  3. Lydia married a Jones and went to montana
  4. Elvina married a Madden and settled in Lima, Ohio
  5. George married Lena Keller and was in Colorado the last time I found him
  6. William married Jennie McKnight and went with George and family from Carthage to settle near Stroud, OK in 1892. William and Jennie raised their family at Stroud, OK.

The above mentioned ladies all taught school before marrying.
