Lehigh was located two miles southwest of Carl Junction on Center Creek.
When Lehigh was organized there were seven saloons and they were
running day and night. In 1884 the town of Lehigh was organized as a
4th class city. The zinc at Lehigh was rich in large quantities.
The town of Lehigh was platted in 1880.
