The resources that we have available are on the left. If you have any resources that you consider helpful, please drop me an email and I will include them here.

A wonderful place to begin researching is the FamilySearch Research Wiki. You do not need to sign up for an account to use the wiki. The wiki includes when vital records were recorded, if there has been any court record loss, as well as information about most record types. It also includes some links to some of the databases available at the 3 major online research sites, Family Search, Ancestry and Myheritage. I highly recommend signing up for FamilySearch as there are a tremondous amount of records available for free.

Missouri State Archives has online databases as well as digital images available online. Research requests can also be made online.

I have spent many happy hours in the library with these ladies and they are just wonderful, extremely helpful and knowledgable about the area. Do not skip contacting them when researching in Jasper County!

The library has closed it's genealogy room and donated all of the records to the Jasper County Archives.
