Thomas & Francis Wood to William R. & Clinton P. Mounce

Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Wood and Francis(sic) Wood of the County of Jasper and State of Missouri, for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars, received to our full satisfaction of William R. Mounce and Clinton P. Mounce of the County of Jasper and State of Missouri the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do Give, Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the said Wm R and Clin P. Mounce and to their heirs and assigns the following described lot, tract or parcel of land, viz: [The South West quarter of the North West quarter in Section Number twenty (No 20) and the north east quarter of the North east quarter of Section (No 19) and the South east quarter of the South west quarter of Section Number eighteen (No 18) all in Township Number thirty (No 30) of Range Number thirty two (No 32) containing one hundred and twenty acres more or less] to have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof, unto them the said Wm R. and Clinton P. Mounce heirs and assigns in fee simple forever to their own purpose use and behoof. And further, we the said Thomas Wood and Frances(sic) do covenant to and with the said Wm R and Clinton P. Mounce that at and until the sealing of these presents we was(sic) well siezed of the above granted and bargained premises, as a good and indefeasible estate in fee simple that the same are free from all incumbrances and that we will forever warrant and defend the title thereof to said Wm R and Clinton P. Mounce their heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever. And I Frances(sic) Wood wife of said Thomas Wood do hereby relinquish my right of dower in and to the above described premises, for the consideration aforesaid.
