Alba News--Ray Smith, who works for the Joplin Supply Co., and has the Oklahoma district, visited his family here Sunday, and reported his auto was stolen from a garage near where he roomed, at Baxter Springs, Friday night. No clue to the thief yet. It is quite a loss to the company.

Our postmaster, Lewis Shaw, was threatened with pneumonia and was unable to be at the office last week. Myrtle Carmichael had charge of the office.
