Second Rural Dinner Proves a Big Success. Webb City's second rural dinner this fall proved a big success at the Teague farm north of Alba last night with probably 125 Webb City people in attendance, besides country people. A. G. Young made a talk and Herbert Kerr's orchestra played.

Passes Annapolis Exam.
Dr. Slaughter this morning received word that his son, Melville, on the U. S. Ship Tennessee at Seattle, has passed his first examination to enter Annapolis, and wil be sent to San Diego to remain from October till April to pass further tests.
