FISHING REPORT ISSUED BY STATE DEPARTMENT
Fishing is getting scientific. A license must be bought now to fish legally in Missouri, and the state department has issued a bulletin relative to fishing conditions at the season's opening, showing the moon's phases, conditions of streams whether fishing is good, fair or poor, in fifty or more streams in South Missouri. Center creek and Spring river do not appear on the list, though Shoal creek does, generally flushed or murky conditions prevail, with no absolutely clear water James river and Lake Taneycomo are reported as fair fishing just now, with some murky water. Shoal creek is poor, but the streams in McDonald county are fair to good.

BROUGHT HOME HONORS.
W.F. Gill and O.M. Harvey, and their ladies, are home from state I.O.O.F. convention at Kirksville, Mr. Gill wearing the brand new honor of grand master. Mr. and Mrs. Morrison Pritchett were also present, as were Mr. and Mrs. Whitson Kirk on honeymoon, and Mrs. Crouch.

ART CLUB TO PICNIC.
The Art club of Webb City is to open the June picnic season early with a seven o'clock al fresco dinner tomorrow evening at the Coyne farm club house fifteen miles southeast of this city. Families of the members will attend.

JUNE TERM OF CIRCUIT COURT REUNION TODAY
Webb City lawyers migrated today for the annual home-coming and reunion at the opening of the June term of circuit court at the county seat. The attorneys line up their cases and get their assignments for trial for the term. Divorces come on Thursday of this week. The docket is reported large, with one murder trial--the Boone case.

RAINBOW TONIGHT
The regular meeting of the Order of Rainbow will be held tonight at 7:30 at the Masonic hall in Webb City. At this time Martha Jane Sellinger will receive the degrees of the order. Preceding the meeting there will be a covered dish luncheon at 6:00. All members are requested to bring a covered dish and be at the hall by 6 o'clock in order that the meeting may start promptly at 7:30. All officers are requested to be present to take part in the initiation.
